In the age of modern music technology, we are fortunate to find those special music maestros that perform from the heart and soul! One such person is Romao, a South Beach local, who has woven his magical musical web into our infamous nightlife scene. Began performing in the South Beach area at Club Deep and Society Hill (notoriously known for their Hip Hop, Reggae and Booty music), strategically grooved his way uptown, rock’in such places as O’bar, (Latin nights) Bash (disco inferno) and Kit Kat (after hours), eventually landing at Bar Room and Liquid, under the direction of Mr. Gerry Kelly, and establishing the name “The Percussion Artist”,

A native of Cuba, and his family moved to LA where he was inspired by musical greats such as the Jacksons, Parliament Funkidelic, Kiss, Earth Wind & Fire and Prince. Romao's passion for music and theatrical flair has certainly earned him the reputation of a sizzling “one man show” complete with fabulous costumes, dance choreography and incredible energy! Currently, Romao's can be seen performing at South Beach “hot
spots”, Level nightclub, Goddess, Score and Tantra lacing his distinctive groove to house, trance, funk, hip hop, and anything else that they throw at him, “This kid truly turns the beat around”. Romao`s goal is to take his talents to another level and make his mark on the international scene. So watch out, Romao and “The sound of drums” is coming to a club near you and he’s going to rock your world!!!
